The Freestone County Game Management Association held their annual youth varmint hunt this past weekend March 3-5.
The First Place team (at top) consisted of Kevin Ellis, Gus Brewer, Carson Little, and Howel Smith, pictured with FCGMA board members Jacob Day and Tristen McGowan. The team was awarded with $2,525 and FCGMA buckles. They also won the Most Animals Killed and the Big Hog buckle.
The Second Place team consisted of Derek Brubaker, Hagen Brubaker, Heston Brooke, and Matthew Brooke, pictured with FCGMA board members Jacob Day and Tristen McGowan. The team was awarded $995 and won the Big Coyote buckle.
Hank Anderson was awarded with $360 and the Big Racoon buckle.
