Freestone County FFA and 4-H groups along with a Faith Academy of Freestone student represented very well at the 2020 Freestone County Livestock Show.
Awards and Participants
–Grand Overall: Madison Thaler, Hayden Hardwic, Lex Thompson and Brighton Bulger of Fairfield FFA (pictured at top) with a 28’ stock trailer.
–Reserve Overall: Ross Smith, Drew Satterwhite, Kade Kimbal, Jackson Black and Kyle O’Commell of Teague FFA with a 32’ GN Float.
–Trailers: 1st – Madison Thaler, Hayden Hardwic, Lex Thompson and Brighton Bulger of Fairfield FFA with a 28’ stock trailer. 2nd – Ross Smith, Drew Satterwhite, Kade Kimball, Jackson Black and Kyle O’Connell of Teague FFA with a 32’ GN Float.

–Outdoor Recreation: 1st – Wilson Lupo, Jake Hagler, River Bonds and Brady Williams of Fairfield 4-H with a BBQ Smoker. 2nd Power Burck of Fairfield 4-H with a Fire Pit.
–Woodworking: 1st – River Bonds and Rainy Bonds of Fairfield 4-H with a Picnic Table. 2nd – Andrew Tucker and Ian Fitzgerald of Teague FFA with a Picnic Table 10’ with a roof. 3rd – Dafne Hagler of Fairfield 4-H with a Metal Bench.
–Truck/Tractor Accessories: Jordan Dazey, Ethan Yoder, Ty Gilber and Daniel Rivera of Teague FFA with a Pasture Sprayer.
Grand Showmanship winners were Wilson Lupo, Jake Hagler, River Bonds and Brady Williams of Fairfield 4-H with their BBQ Smoker.
Earning the Reserve Grand Showmanship was Madison Thaler, Hayden Hardwic, Lex Thompson and Brighton Bulger of Fairfield FFA with a 28’ stock trailer.
The Grand Junior Showmanship was awarded to Dafne Hagler of Fairfield 4-H with a Metal Bench.
Taking home the Reserve Junior Showmanship was Dawson Grissett of Fairfield Jr FFA with a Washer Board Set.
