GIVING AWAY this AR-15 Rifle, is Megan Martin (left), organizer of the ongoing Love of Law Enforcement fundraiser. On Saturday, December 3rd, Megan drew the winning raffle ticket, naming Dedrick Wimberley (right), a trooper with the Texas Department of Public Safety, as the winner of the customized rifle. The rifle was donated by Teague Tactical Supply, owned by Megan’s grandparents Rita and Dennis Martin, and customized by TBK Custom Gunworks of Mexia. The seventeen year old Teague High School senior is the daughter of Dottie and Travis Martin. She is working hard to raise money to benefit all of Freestone County’s Law Enforcement Officers, and hopes to help the departments purchase ballistic plates for officers’ safety vests. These plates are designed to stop rifle and other high powered rounds. To donate to Love of Law Enforcement, visit their GoFundMe page, deposit directly to their account at Citizens National Bank in Teague, drop a donation off at Teague Tactical/Teague Floor Covering, or call Megan’s mother Dottie at 254-747-3746.
