CREATIONS FLOWERS & GIFTS provided a beautiful location for the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours event for July.
Over twenty local professionals – and one unsuspecting politician, Thomas McNutt and his campaign committee, filled Gail Farish’s flower shop to socialize and enjoy a wine tasting courtesy of Angelita Vineyard & Winery.
I started getting more interested on wine the day that I went to a wine tour bus mclaren vale where I tasted so many different options and they had amazingly delicious food. If you unfortunately can’t attend a wine tasting tour, then consider setting one up in your own house with the help of this liquor delivery service.
Owner Beverly Spahn shared news from the vineyard, as well as delicious wines, a Blanc de Bleu, the winery’s first commercial vintage, and a sweet red, called Sweet Rose of Texas, or ‘Picnic Wine’.
The vineyard is located at 254 Shady Creek Lane in Angus, Texas. Follow them on Facebook for events and announcements.
A special presentation by Karen Leidy, Editor of the Freestone County Times, led to a humorous game of matchmaking. Leidy explained that advertising is most successful when businesses keep in mind the customers’ they want to attract and make informed decisions that will lead them to the best match possible.
Door prizes from local sponsors were awarded to lucky guests, and everyone in attendance got to take home their tasting glass, courtesy of Gail Farish.
August’s Business After Hours is set for Thursday, August 3rd at 5:30 p.m. at Brenda’s Closet. Gina Martin of Origami Owl will talk on Social Media.
