Willard Insurance Group celebrated its Grand Opening and joining of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Mr. Taco snack spread on Friday, March 29, 2024.
Owner Amy Williard first opened her business in October of 2021 and ran it from her home. She then had a very small office located just East of Fairfield, before relocating due to expansion to her current location at 424 W. Highway 84 in Fairfield in November of 2023.
Mrs. Willard specializes in Livestock and Commercial (both large and small) insurance policies.
She also offers policies for home and auto, life and health, and farm insurance.
One thing she offers, that most companies don’t, is auto policies for persons with no driver’s license, suspended driver’s license, and those with a Mexican Mantricula Consular Card.
Mrs. Willard received her Insurance License in 2014 and is currently licensed in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Mississippi. “I’ve wanted to open my own Insurance Company for a long time and finally decided to take a leap of faith,” explains Mrs. Willard. “Having my own business offers me flexibility. Plus, my husband says I’m really good at it.”
Mrs. Willard is a 2005 graduate of Fairfield High School. She and husband DJ live in Fairfield with their two children, Makenzi and Brandtly.
“I’m very proud of my mom,” says Makenzi. “She has done great!”
