This month’s featured speaker is Maureen Frank, Ph.D., AgriLife Extension wildlife specialist in Uvalde and assistant professor in the Texas A&M College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Department of Rangeland, Wildlife and Fisheries Management.
“Dr. Frank will help non-landowner birders understand the value of sustainable working lands, and landowners explore the benefits of bird ecotourism,” Treadwell said.
Opportunities like building backyard bird habitats and encouraging youth to become leaders through hunting experiences will be among the topics covered.
The ongoing stewardship series offers learning opportunities over a range of topics related to rangeland science and wildlife and fisheries management.
