BRINGING HOME MEDALS are these Wortham High School UIL students from the UIL Regional meet, held April 12-13, 2019 at Panola College in Carthage, Texas.
Ben Havens won 4th place in Lincoln Douglas (LD) debate which qualifies him to travel to Austin on May 29-30 to compete as the State alternate.
The accounting team, consisting of Samantha Lee, Davis Garretty, and Hagen Chaney, won 3rd place team.
Samantha Lee scored 5th place individually on the accounting team.
In total, Wortham High School sent eleven students to the regional meet and is very proud of these hard working students!
