WHS BBQ Teams Qualify for State Competition

Both of Wortham High School’s BBQ Competition Teams have qualified for State at their first competition of the year!

The two times are Mean Beans and Special Forces. Here are the results from their competition that earned them a place at State.

–Desserts: Mean Beans – 13th & Special Forces – 10th

–Beans: Mean Beans – 11th & Special Forces -DQ (meat chunks were too big)

–Chicken: Mean Beans – 14th & Special Forces – 5th

–Ribs: Mean Beans – 13th & Special Forces – 17th

–Brisket: Mean Beans – 9th & Specials Forces – 18th
