The National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) Chapter 1191 held its monthly lunch meeting on Tuesday, 11 Jul 2023, at Omar’s Taco in Waxahachie.
The guest speaker was David Hill, Waxahachie Mayor. David Hill is retired as owner/operator of David Hill Custom Homes and has been on the Waxahachie City Council for 10 years and mayor for four years. He and four generations of family reside in Waxahachie. He discussed the new Waxahachie City Hall along with the movement of city services into a more centralized location. A question and answer session followed the very interesting presentation.
NARFE Chap. 1191 covers Ellis, Navarro and adjacent parts of the surrounding counties. Membership in NARFE is open to all active and retired federal employees and their spouses, former federal employees, and former spouses who are entitled to a federal survivor annuity.
