Wanda Lou Moore, 75, of Fairfield, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017 in Fairfield.
Funeral services were held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Capps Memorial Chapel with Bro. Ed Ridge officiating. Interment followed at Lake Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers were James Daniel Solley, James Steven Solley, Cheyenne Rosser Moore, Jacob Daniel Moore, Douglas Tapley and Donald Ray Tapley, Jr.
Mrs. Moore was born March 27, 1942 in Malakoff, Texas to parents Ellis L. and Myrtie O. Fuller Tapley. She had been a resident of Fairfield almost all of her life. On March 12, 1960 she married Wallace Moore and last March celebrated 57 years of marriage. She was a member of Round Prairie Baptist Church. Wanda spent her life loving and taking care of her husband and family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two daughters, Crystal Gayle Moore and Karen Elizabeth Moore; one granddaughter, Chole Elizabeth Moore; five brothers and four sisters.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Wallace; three children, Gary D. Moore and wife Gwen of Fairfield; Steven Neal Moore of Fairfield; Crystal Elizabeth Moore and husband Clifford DeCluette of Corsicana; two brothers, Roy Tapley and wife Joyce of Cayuga, TX; Ronnie Tapley and wife Jerry of Greenville, TX; one sister, Mary Evelyn Armstrong of Fairfield; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
