WALKING FOR EDUCATION, Booker T. Washington/J.A. Brooks (BTW/JAB) Alumni make the four mile trip around Teague to raise money for their scholarship fund Saturday, September 3rd. Last year, the Alumni Association distributed approximately $9,000, awarding twenty-one scholarships to Teague High School graduates and descendants of BTW/JAB alumni. Alumni from the Bi-State, Dallas, Houston, and Corsicana chapters gathered at Booker T. Washington Park in Teague to kick off their bi-annual walk for education.
