This weekend, members of the community have decorated the lamp posts surrounding the Courthouse Square in Fairfield, Texas and the whole community is invited to vote for their favorites.
City of Fairfield is hosting its first annual Holiday Lamp Post Decorating Contest this year. (replaces the residential and business decorating contests)
Look for ballots at local businesses around town to cast your vote.
Or, vote on the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce page on Facebook.
The decorated poles will stay up until Friday, December 28th.
Winners will be announced at the City’s ‘Jingle All the Way’ event on Saturday, December 15th.
Prizes will be given for First ($500), Second ($300), and Third ($200) places. Winners will receive a Gift Card to the local business of their choice.
