This Saturday is Fairfield’s 27TH ANNUAL SHOW OF WHEELS event featuring classic cars, trucks and motorcycles on the Freestone County Courthouse Square on September 6, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

There will be food, vendors, live music by The FOG, clean restrooms, and plenty of shade.

Members of the Bi-Stone Antique Tractor Club will also be displaying their best tractors and farm equipment.

Trinity Star Arts Council will be hosting their first Fall art show, featuring artist Mike Seales’s ‘ICONIC CAR ART’.

Meet with the artist and view the art from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 115 S. Mount Street.

Sweets and treats will be served.

In coordination with the Show of Wheels event, the LADIES POKER STROLL will also be held that Saturday. Shop local retailers for sales and a chance to win some prizes.

Plus, the FAIRFIELD FARMERS MARKET at Armadillo Emporium will host their last event for the year that day, as well.

Shop for produce, eggs, chicken, beef, baked goods, handmade items and food trucks.

Armadillo Emporium is also hosting ‘Nurse Pat’s’ Garage Sale in the back bay of their store from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Look for the yellow balloons!

For those in town early there is a special event especially for kids: PEDALING WITH PICASSO paint party will be hosted on the courthouse square beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 5th.

Hot dog dinner and refreshments will be provided by Fairview Healthcare.

Also, start shopping for treasures early with the new SALES ALONG 84 event on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, September 4, 5 & 6

Billed as the “South’s Longest Garage Sale,” this 3-day, 3-state event will include communities from Waco, Texas all the way to Laurel, Mississippi.

Just look for the yellow balloons displayed at participating.
