The Dogwood Chapter 991 of the Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) and the Associates of the VVA (AVVA) will hold their regular monthly meeting on January 14 in the DAV/VVA Hall of Gardner Drive, Palestine starting at 6:00.
Dinner will be served at 6:30, followed by the business session.
This year’s Spring Donation Raffle will kick off with distribution of new raffle tickets.
The primary prize for this raffle is the Texas Ranger Tribute Colt 45 automatic. This is a beautiful, fully operational, museum quality weapon that will be an heirloom pass-down to future generations.
The dinner theme for January is warm and hearty “soup pot” dishes.
