The next in the series of monthly free lunches for Veterans sponsored by several local health care groups is scheduled for Friday, February 14.
The lunch will be served at 12:00 at the DAV/VVA Hall located at 927 Gardner Drive in Palestine. The Hall is located on Gardner Drive behind Mattern Tire Company on SH-155 North.
Following lunch, the Alzheimer Association will have a program on Dementia and Living with the Disease.
This month’s sponsors are Heart to Heart Hospice, Angels Care Home Health, Capital Senior Living/Dogwood Trails, and Greenbrier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
The local Chapters of the Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) and Disabled American Veterans (DAV) are hosts for these events. All Veterans, Veteran’s families, and anyone interested in Veteran affairs are welcome to attend.
