Several programs have been planned in Freestone County to honor our veterans.
The Jonathan Hardin Chapter National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will host a luncheon on Wednesday, November 8th in conjunction with their monthly meeting to honor Veterans in Freestone and Limestone Counties.
Speakers will be members Joan Marsh and Judy Taylor, who will present a program entitled ‘Veterans Through Time.’
The JHC DAR meeting and Veterans Luncheon will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church – Family Life Center in Teague. For more information, contact Beth Harrison by phone: 903-388-7056.
Dew ISD will have a Veterans Day Recognition Assembly beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2023 in the Dew Jr. High Gym. All veterans are invited to attend.

A special reception for veterans will follow the program.
Teague ISD will host a Veterans Lunch on Friday, November 10th beginning 11:00 a.m. at Teague High School Library, followed by Veterans Day program in the High School Gym at 12:10 p.m.
All former or active military personnel are invited to attend.
