The Wortham Lady Bulldogs started their second round of district facing the second place team the Hubbard Lady Jaguars. The Lady Bulldogs had a solid defense that kept them on top throughout the five sets that were all close.
Serve receive and defense for the bulldogs continues to be strong with Libero Grace McCoslin leading with 23 digs. Braidee Taylor had 7 digs and Ameeya Rhodes had one dig.
Setter Allie McCoslin had 26 assists and six digs. Ana Colquette had 9 assists and 4 digs.
The Lady Bulldog’s offense continues to be solid all around with several hitters.

The win over Hubbard has secured the Lady Bulldogs in the playoffs to make their 25th consecutive year for Wortham.
Wortham will face Dawson this coming Tuesday in Wortham.
