The following are the confirmed counts for positive test received in regards to COVID-19 testing in the five-county region.

A release from the Freestone County Judge Linda Grant explains that on Friday, June 12, 2020, the count received a report of four new confirmed active positives.


The locations are:
–Fairfield – 1
–Freestone County- 1
–Teague – 1
–Wortham – 2


There is also a probable case as well, meaning they are not test confirmed but meet other criteria that appears to be COVID-19.


Judge Grant ask that the community, “BE SAFE. We should still continue to follow all the guidelines and recommendations from the state, federal, and local governments to practice social distancing and follow personal health hygiene practices.”


As a note, the Texas Department of State Health Services COVID-19 dashboard is considered to be, “provisional and subject to change.”
