Spring Fashion Takes the Stage April 25th
Freestone Cancer Support Group’s Spring Style Show will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Calvary Baptist Church of Fairfield.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and dinner starts at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased at the door or in advance from FCSG members.
Taking Orders for Annual Brisket Fundraiser
Orders are being taken for the annual Fairfield Young Farmers Brisket Sale.
Cost is $75 for fully cooked 11-13 (pre-cooked) brisket. These will be ready for pick up April 13, 2017 between 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Proceeds will benefit scholarships.

FREE Income Tax Service for All Ages Offered Thru April 13
For the third year, Tax Aide is providing FREE federal income tax preparation services to area residents. The dates and times are every Thursday from now to April 13th, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at First United Methodist Church, 201 North Mount St, Fairfield.
Interested area residents should bring their tax paperwork (W-2s, 1099’s for income, self employment details, deduction details), picture ID for taxpayer and spouse, and social security cards for all family members, and 2015 return if available. The 2016 returns will be prepared while you wait and e-filed each evening.
Tax Aide volunteers are sponsored by AARP and trained and certified through IRS sponsored programs. Tax Aide now has over 35,000 volunteers at 5,000 sites nationwide who assist in preparing tax returns.

Quarterly FCHC Meeting in April
The FCHC will have their quarterly meeting on Tuesday, April 4th at the Fairfield Library Meeting room.
There will be a short business meeting starting at 7:00 followed by a program.
Refreshments will be provided by the members, all are welcome!

Public Welcome to Attend METGCD Meeting on Tuesday
The Mid-East Texas Groundwater Conservation District will be conducting a Board Meeting on Tuesday, March 28, 2017.
The meeting will begin at 6:00 PM and will be in Fairfield at the Freestone County Courthouse, County Courtroom.
This meeting is open to the public and everyone is invited to attend.
