Fairfield’s Lady Eagles All-Star 10U Softball team returned to their hometown Monday evening, July 22, 2019 with a police escort.
Proud parents and family members cheered as these hard-working athletes raised their hands in victory, sporting their championship rings.
These ladies ended their season with a three-day tournament in Palestine.
Following opening ceremonies on Friday, the grueling tournament had them playing a total of six games for the elimination: three on Saturday, one on Sunday, and two on Monday.
Tired, but happy, the team took a moment with coaches Bridgett Carroll, Emily Beaver, and Chris Lane to mark the occasion with photographs.
The undefeated Lady Eagles include (left-right, back-front): Kylee Silar, Adalyn Peterson, Kole Brackens, Kaylie Ridge, Haylee Allen, Jaycee Schmidt, Delaney McGowan, Alyssa Allen, Cadence Webster, Ryleigh Lane, Reese Beaver, and Cariss Capps.
