Two Waco, Texas Attorneys were arrested and charged with solicitation of capital murder on Friday, May 22, 2020.
Seth Sutton, 45 and Chelsea Beaudin, 33 were arrested and had a $1 million bond set on them. Both bonded out on May 26, 2020.
According to the arrest affidavit, Sutton approached an undercover police officer to arrange for the murder of Marcus Beaudin, ex-husband of Chelsea Beaudin.
Marcus Beaudin was arrested in February on a child indecency charge, and as of press time had not been indicted.
Allegedly, Sutton gave the officer $300 to purchase a gun, while Sutton and Chelsea Beaudin also provided detailed instructions on how to commit the murder.
The Waco Police worked in conjunction with the Texas Rangers on this case.
