Promote Freestone County Fair & Rodeo
ENTRY DEADLINE: April 11, 2025
The Trinity Star Arts Council is sponsoring a Digital Poster Contest for Freestone County youth ages 8 to 18.
This will be an opportunity for young people to express their creative abilities through visual communication skills.
It will also be an avenue for promoting our annual Freestone County Fair & Rodeo.
Each Digital Poster entry should be informative and promotional, suitable for an advertisement.
They must contain graphic art geared toward the Freestone County Fair & Rodeo set for June 16-21, 2025. Information needed to create the Digital Poster may be found online at www.fcfar.org
Submitted entries will become the property of the Trinity Star Arts Council.
Awards will be presented in two divisions: Junior (ages 8-12) and Senior (ages 13-18).
Banners will be awarded for Champions and Reserve Champions. Third place will receive a ribbon.
Enter the contest by sending a .PDF version of the your entry & entry form must be emailed to – info@TrinityStarArtsCouncil.org by the entry deadline – April 11, 2025 at 4:00 p.m.
Limit one entry per participant.
Entry forms have been sent to all the schools in Freestone County and will be available on the TSAC website at trinitystarartscouncil.org
Scoring will be based on a 50-point scale with 10 points given for each of the following categories:
–Originality/creativity
–Message, attracts attention
–Appealing
–Organization
–Promotional Ability
All entries will be printed (11-inch x 17-inch) by TSAC board members and displayed at the TSAC Gallery.
Contestants do not need to bring or send a printed copy; simply email your PDF file with entry form.
Awards will be announced at the ArtWalk on May 1, 2025 at 5:30 pm at Trinity Star Arts Council Gallery, located at 115 S. Main Street in Fairfield.
