The Trinity Arts Council presents the Missoula Children’s Theatre camp from Monday, July 28 through Saturday, August 2. Camp start/end times TBD. The group welcomes local students entering grades 1-12 to participate in the theater production camp of Hansel and Gretel, which is free to all participants.
Missoula Children’s Theatre has designed this program to be self-sufficient, accessible, and affordable for the communities across North America each year and works with a full array of presenting organizations, including PTA’s, homeschool associations, performing arts centers, arts councils, etc.
Their team of two professional actors/directors will arrive in the Fairfield community with a set, lights, costumes, props, and make-up… everything it takes to put on a play – except the cast. This week-long residency will begin with an audition on Monday, July 28, and culminate in two public performances on Saturday, August 2. Sixty students entering grades 1-12 will be cast and will rehearse throughout the week, learning lines, songs, and choreography to perform in a full-length musical. The show will be an original adaptation of Hansel and Gretel.
Registration for the show will be May 12-14 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the TSAC Building at 115 S. Mount Street in Fairfield. Space is limited.
