Trinity Star Art Council has several events planned through August for the community to enjoy. Mark your calendars so you can experience the arts right here in Freestone County.
Upcoming events include the following:
–February 4th: Children’s Theater at Fairfield Intermediate school, ‘Three Little Pigs, remix’ by Young Audiences
–February 5th: From 5:00-7:00 p.m. will be the annual ‘ART ON THE SQUARE’ event at TSAC Gallery located at 115 S. Mount Street in Fairfield, TX. ‘Primitive Arts and Unique Beadwork’ features primitive pieces from Al Gibson’s collection and award-winning beadwork by local artist, Cindy Vaughn. Reception and refreshments.
–February 15th: Beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Lakeside Methodist Church in St. Elmo, Tx. TSAC will host Piatigorsky artists Evan Drachman, cellist and Efi Hackmey, pianist in an evening of classical music. Reception following concert at the church.
–February 19th: From 5:00-7:00 p.m. the TSAC Gallery will feature ‘Marionette Tales’ presented by FISD gifted and talented students.
–March 12th: 5pm-7pm ‘ART ON THE SQUARE’ TSAC Gallery 115 S Mount Fairfield, Tx. Photography exhibition by Austin photographer, Kevin Sweeney. Reception and refreshments.
–April 25th: Become a patron and attend a special event at the Tri-County Golf Club and enjoy the ‘Texas Comedies’ as they perform a musical comedy ‘Prohibition.’ For more information go to trinitystarartscouncil.org.
–July 27th – Aug 1st: Missoula Children’s Theater
