While the County did not receive the great influx of visitors as expected, and there was cloud coverage in many places, that didn’t stop the people from enjoying themselves.
There were several watch parties attended by locals and visitors throughout the County.
Fairfield Chamber of Commerce held a party at the Freestone County Fairgrounds which included music, food, and fun of all sorts.
There was even a science project competition for area students. Be sure to check out this week’s paper (April 17, 2024) for the results and photos of the event.
