Tommy A. Guy, 87, died Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at his residence between Teague and Mexia. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Fairfield with Mr. Chet Foster and Mr. Don Williams officiating.
Mr. Guy was born March 23, 1930 in Ponca City, OK to parents Tommy Red and Ida Lee Clark Guy. He was a retired printer and also retired from the Heart of Texas Group Homes in Mexia. He was a member of Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witnesses in Fairfield. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Tommy A. Guy, Jr.; two brothers and one sister.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Ida; three children, Mary Jo Ewing of Mexia; Michael James Guy of Teague; Carol Ann Bell and husband Kerry of Sherman, TX; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
