As reported in last week’s edition, three male subjects were arrested following a chase that ended on North Highway 75 near the FM 833 intersection.
The suspects were seen in a Wortham school zone by Wortham PD Officer Price who tried to initiate a traffic stop when the silver car took off and led area law enforcement on a high-speed chase.
Officers later found drugs, money, and a handgun on the side of the road that is believed to have been dumped from the vehicle during the chase.
The three individuals and their charges are as follows:
–Dekimbe Mosley: 25, B/M; Tamper/Fabricate Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair Investigation ($10,000), Places Weapons Prohibited ($10,000), and Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz ($1,500)
–Terry Lynn Peterson: 29, B/M; Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance not in Penalty Group/Leon County ($25,000), Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance not in Penalty Group/Leon County ($10,000),
Tamper/Fabricate Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair Investigation ($10,000), Places Weapons Prohibited ($10,000), and Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz ($1,500)
–Cary Peterson: 30, B/M; Tamper/Fabricate Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair Investigation ($10,000), Places Weapons Prohibited ($10,000), Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz ($1,500), Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 3 less than 28 grams ($2,500), and Evading Arrest or Detention with Motor Vehicle ($10,000)
