The Friends of the Palestine Public Library’s upcoming sale is Friday, October 13 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 14 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. inside the Palestine Mall at 2000 South Loop 256 at Hwy 19/287.
Thousands of good quality books from $1.75 hardbacks, 50 cents standard paper/soft backs to 10 cents small romance novels will be available. Coffee table books and sets are varied in price.
Saturday from 2:00-3:00 will be “all the hardbacks you can get in a plastic sack for $5.00” and “all the paperbacks you can get in a plastic sack for $3.00.”
Some of the numerous categories are: fiction (alphabetized by letter), science fiction/fantasy, romance, westerns, biographies, art, cook books, geography, humor, Texana, reference, history, military, foreign language, medical/health, religious/spiritual, self-help, children’s, science, gardening , true crime, and a wide range of general non-fiction. A good selection of free books will also be available.
