Freestone County archer, Marvin Mullen, has won for the third straight year, the Texas Archery Shooter’s Association Federation (ASA) “Shooter of the Year” and “State Championship” in the Super-Senior Known Division. The Texas State tournament was held at Bulverde on July 16 & 17 with Marvin receiving two trophy buckles.

On July 31, Mullen also won the ASA Classic Pro-Am in his division which was held in Cullman, Alabama. Marvin shoots out of Outdoor Country between Fairfield and Teague, owned by Jack Hale.
