The Jonathan Hardin Chapter NSDAR is thankful for the community support of the Veteran remembrance wreath sponsorships. All Veterans buried at Driver and LaSalle Cemeteries will be remembered with a wreath laid on their grave site.

This includes 82 graves in Freestone County and 42 in Limestone County.

Wreath sponsorships are all-year long. The National deadline for wreath sponsorships this year is November 28th.

Donations must be in the National office by midnight on that date. Any sponsorships received after deadline will be credited to next year.

The Natational Wreaths Across America Day is Saturday, December 17, 2022.

The JHC is planning the Ceremonies for Driver and LaSalle Cemeteries. The ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m. at LaSalle Cemetery and 2:00 p.m. at Driver Cemetery.

The Ceremony for both cemeteries is open to the public.

Volunteers are needed to lay wreaths following the ceremony.

If anyone is interested in preparing for, participating in, or cleaning up after the event, we welcome you.

One of the WAA’s mission is to teach our children about the sacrifices made for our freedoms. We want to include any youth that are interested in participating.
