Fairfield ISD wants to recognize and celebrate the action of bus monitor Kenneth Bass.
On Monday’s afternoon bus route last week, a student started to choke and ran to Mr. Bass for help.
Mr. Bass calmly but quickly was able to perform the Heimlich maneuver on the student and dislodge the object, avoiding what could have been a serious, perhaps even catastrophic situation.
Thank you, Mr. Bass, for your quick thinking and reaction! We are proud of you for taking care of our students.
