The Jonathan Hardin Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, Inc. sends a great big THANK YOU to the community for shopping at our rummage sale on June 15, 2024. We also want to thank Gary Wiggins and the Fairfield Library for the use of their property for the rummage sale. All the
donations were used to sponsor Veteran’s Remembrance Wreaths in support of “Wreaths Across America.”
We raised funds to sponsor approximately 70 remembrance wreaths for our veterans that are buried at Driver, LaSalle, New Hope, Salem, and Wortham/Blind Lemon Memorial Cemeteries. We have over 536 veterans buried at these locations that we will honor with a remembrance wreath. Ceremonies will be held at each of these locations on National Wreaths Across America Day – Saturday, December 14, 2024. Following each of the ceremonies, wreaths will be placed on each of the Veteran’s graves by volunteers. Donations are accepted throughout the year.
