The 100th Freestone County Fair and Rodeo was a success in part because of the hard work and dedication of the Fairfield Police Department and the cooperation of many other agencies including Fairfield EMS, Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department, Freestone County Sheriff’s Department, Freestone County Emergency Management, Teague Police Department, Teague Fire Department, Wortham Police Department, and our city employees putting in long hours with our friends in the Freestone County Fair Association.
In particular, Fairfield EMS administrator Billy Perez deserves special recognition for leading this interagency effort. This year’s fair was a great display of coordination and cooperation.
