Games Set for December 12-14, 2024

Twenty-three teams will descend on the City of Fairfield for the Fairfield Invitational Basketball Tournament being held December 12-14, 2024.

Competing in the Girls tournament will be Fairfield, Teague, Madisonville, Neches, Burnet, Mt. Vernon, Connally, Taylor, Little River Academy, Martin’s Hill, China Spring, and Mexia.

Jumping into the Boys tournament are Fairfield, Palmer, Azle, Connally, LaVega, Athens, Maypearl, Decatur, Mexia, Bullard, and Brewer.

GIRLS TOURNAMENT

Thursday will start off at 9:00 a.m. in the Maroon Gym with Neches vs Teague. Girls’ schedule is as follows (according to bracket provided – gym locations subject to change):

12:00 pm Fairfield vs Mt Vernon

3:00 pm Connally vs Taylor

6:00 pm Fairfield vs Burnet

–Gold Gym

10:30 am Martin’s Mill vs China Spring

1:30 pm Madisonville vs Neches

4:30 pm Mexia vs Martin’s Mill

7:30 pm Connally vs Little River Academy

–South Gym

1:30 pm Mexia vs China Spring

4:30 pm Teague vs Madisonville

Friday’s Schedule will be:

9:00 am Burnet vs Mt. Vernon

–Gold Gym

10:30 am Little River Academy vs Taylor

BOYS TOURNAMENT

Thursday will start off at 9:00 a.m. in the Gold Gym with LaVega vs Athens and in the South Gym with Bullard vs Decatur.

Teams are divided into four Groups: A, B, C and D.

After pool play, each team will be ranked first to third. The Gold bracket is first, the Silver bracket is second, and the Bronze bracket is third place.

Tickets are available as a 3-day pass for $15 per adult and $8 per student, or daily passes are available for $6 per adult and $4 per student.

Games will be played in the Johnson Activity Center’s Gold and Maroon Gyms, and in the South Gym.
