The new Teague Christmas In The Park Committee, now directly affiliated with the City of Teague, held its first meeting on April 16, 2019 in order to elect leaders and to discuss their main goals and objectives.
Members of this new committee include Chairman Brittany Brown – Event Planning, Vice Chairman Bill Bowers – Logistics, Jerry Ballew – Logistics, Anita Philpott, Jessica Riskin – Fundraising, Kyle Steen – City Liaison, and Doris McWilliams.
This new committee plans expand Christmas decorations into each of the three parks in Teague; BTW Park, 8th Avenue Park, and Main Street Park.
Volunteers willing to assist in planning and fundraisers are welcome.
The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 21st, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall.
