An altercation between a man and woman ended in gunshot injuries this weekend in Teague, Texas.
On Sunday, March 27, 2022, approximately 10:50 a.m. Teague Police responded to the 400 block of S. 11th Ave for an unknown request for police assistance. Teague Police received a second call, while in route to the original call, reporting gun shots.
The homeowner reported a male in a dispute with a female in their front yard. The homeowner reported the male acted like he had a weapon, and subsequently fired three shots at him.
The male was struck with at least one round and fled the scene. He was identified and flown to a Waco Area hospital for further medical treatment of his injuries.
All person’s involved in this case have been identified and officers are investigating the incident.
All indications are this incident is isolated and there is no continued threat to other citizens.
This case is not related with any other cases being worked by Teague Police Department.
