The second week of April was National Library Week. The Library held Story Time on Monday, April 8, and Gayle Griffin held a book signing on Wednesday, April 10.
We held a contest for the children; they were to design their own bookmarks.
For the older group, First Place was awarded to Lindsay Barker, Second Place to Kinsley Nevill, and Third Place to Stori Mason.
For the younger group, First Place was awarded to Sable Mason, Second Place to Harper Nevill, and Third Place to Parker Satterwhite.
“Most Creative” went to Avery Satterwhite.
Spring is here and summer is upon us. The Summer Reading Program “Sign Up” is scheduled for Saturday, June 8.
Bob Compton, library patron and supporter, passed away; he will be missed.
