Even though the Lady Lions remarkable basketball season has ended, awards are steady coming in.
Super Cen-Tex named the following THS athletes:
Ashley Nickleberry – 1st team
KaDaja Nickleberry – 1st team
Destanee Roblow – 2nd Team
Cady Drake – Honorable Mention.
“This is a huge honor for these young ladies to receive its well-deserved and I’m proud of them,” says Coach Nickleberry.
In addition, the Super Cen-Tex awarded Coach Chris Nickleberry the Coach of the Year award.
“I’m humbled and grateful, all in one; just blessed with the opportunity to coach great kids and work for an awesome school district,” says Coach Nickleberry. “This is a great honor to be recognized among so many great coaches in area thanks to all who found me worthy of this honor.”
TABC also released its All-Region team, naming Ashley Nickleberry and KaDaja Nickleberry to the team.
