Baylor University has selected nearly 2,800 recent high school graduates as recipients of scholastic awards for the 2019-2020 academic year. All of these scholarships are awarded on the basis of class rank and test scores.
Teague High School graduate, Juan Robles Castelo, earned the Dean’s Gold Scholarship, which provides $60,000 to $64,000 for eight semesters.
Baylor’s top award – the Regents’ Gold Scholarship – provides National Merit finalists, who have indicated Baylor as their university of choice, with a full-tuition academic scholarship to Baylor for up to eight semesters of undergraduate study beginning in fall 2019. This award is augmented by the students’ test scores.
Baylor also awarded students with one of four other merit scholarships based on a combination of class rank and test scores:
President’s Gold Scholarship, which provides $80,000 to $88,000 for eight semesters.
Provost’s Gold Scholarship, which provides $68,000 to $76,000 for eight semesters.
Deans’ Gold Scholarship, which provides $60,000 to $64,000 for eight semesters.
Founders’ Gold Scholarship, which provides $32,000 to $52,000 for eight semesters.
