E93, T95, B96, B97, and B98 responded with assistance from Wortham, Dew, and Mexia FD’s on a grass fire involving approximately 10 acres. The fire destroyed one structure and damaged a second (both vacant houses). The dry conditions and wind aided in rapid fire growth. Fairfield FD was disregarded before arrival. The cause of the fire was fireworks. We greatly appreciate all of the fire departments listed for their assistance and THD EMS for providing rehab standby.

T95, B96, B97, and Fairfield G86 responded for a reported grass fire. The fire involved app. 2 acres and several structures were threatened. Dew FD was disregarded. We greatly appreciate the assistance.

Teague, Fairfield, Dew, and Wortham FD’s responded earlier for a grass fire on FCR 930. The fire involved approximately 6 acres, mostly in a wooded area. It required a lot of hand tool work. Two firefighters had to be checked by EMS due to the extreme heat. Everyone on scene worked very hard to contain and extinguish the fire. THD EMS and Fairfield EMS provided medical standby. We greatly appreciate everyone’s assistance.

E93 responded on back to back calls this evening. The first was a debris pile (reported as an abandoned structure) and the second was a riding lawn mower fire. Both fires were extinguished quickly. Fairfield E82 responded to assist on the first incident.
