Athen Allee, Coach of the 12U Baseball Team, would like to thank all members of the Teague Baseball & Softball Association board.
“The 2024 board did a tremendous job this year preparing the fields, purchasing equipment, taking care of the kids, and running the concession stand,” he says. “If it wasn’t for all of their hard work and effort, our kids would not have been as successful.”

FIRST PLACE IN COUNTY and heading to the District Tournament in Baseball is the 14U Kormos team of Teague, which includes Coaches Scott Kormos and Scott Dillion, with players Hagen Brubaker, Lawson Kormos, Mario Cuevas, Kaston Kimball, Dylan Gauntt, Cason Jackson, Ross Scruggs, Braden Newsom, Corbin Moore, Parker Satterwhite, Dillon Smith, Conner Crutcher, and Graeme Dillon. CONTENDERS IN THE DISTRICT Playoff Tournament is Teague’s 10U Ashley team, which includes Maddux Ashley, Kohen Farris, Dominik Diaz, John Henry Grube, Peyton Beaird, Kyler Brockman, Rodney Copeland, Parker Ricketts, Jack Riley, Jett Hataway, Bradlee Christ, Creed Risken, and Cash Thompson. 10U Espinoza – Baseball
ALSO COMPETING IN THE Playoff Tournament for District is the 10U Espinoza team of Teague, coached by Cody Espinoza, Beau Egbert, and Blake Ryan. Team members include Ryan Shiflet, Stetson Espinoza, Maze Cathy, Liam Ryan, Bentley Amos, Tully Egbert, Brett Rhea, Mason Rozcniak, Ashton Philpot, Jackson Morris, Jesse Green, Dayce Linscomb, and Kason Rose. These guys will play the week of June 24th in Buffalo.
Taking Second Place at District and clinching their spot in the Regional Tournament is the Fairfield 6U Baseball team. They played in the District Tournament in Fairfield and battled to the championship game losing by 1 run in extra innings to earn that Second Place Title. Players include #17 – LCF – Brayden Kennedy, #3 – RF – Dax Campbell, #4 – 3B – Clay Puckett, #7 – 2B – Witten Chambers, #14 – C – Waylen Cooper, #6 – LF – Kason Ballew, #1 – RCF – Aydyn Suetos, #2 – RF – Cash Stone, #9 – P – Isaac Garcia, #11 – SS – Owen Beall, #10 – LF – Dillion Myers, #88 – 1B – Prestyn Weldon, Team Manager – Trace Sandlin, and Team Manager – Benton Craig. Head Coach is Justin Campbell. Assistant Coaches are Jaymi Craig, Ashley Sandlin, Savanna Puckett, and Cody Kennedy. These young athletes will travel to Corsicana for the Regional Tournament on June 21-23.
Going undefeated and earning the title of District Champs at the District Tournament held in Corsicana was the Fairfield 8U Team. They outscored their opponent 56-5 in tournament play. Team members are #1 – 2B – Hunter Blair, #00 – C – Brayden Blassingame, #3 – LF – Jagger Bloxom, #45 – 1B – Kayson Brogden, #41 – RF – Tristan Clegg, #11 – LCF – Briar Gooch, #7 – SS – Tripp Griffin, #6 – P – Conner Hale, #17 – RF – Caleb McPherson, #13 – 3B – Sheppard Paul, #8 – RCF – Axel Smith, Alt – Brennon Kennedy, Alt – Grady Watson, and Alt – Hawk Bugg. Head Coach is Taylor Paul with Assistant Coaches Austin Brogden, Colin Blair, and Phillip McPherson. These gentlemen will compete in the Regional Tournament in Center on June 21-23.
