The Christmas in the Park Committee is actively working with the City of Teague to prepare for events in the park this year, as the future of the pavilion is being determined. The City Park structure is currently fenced off for safety reasons.

Christmas will go on. Participants as asked to be prepared to start decorating their trees as early as November 5th. All need to be completed by November 28th.

“We will be working hard over the next few weeks to prepare for December 1st,” say members of the committee. “Any and all help will be greatly appreciated to get this park decorated this year.”

Contact them on their Facebook page, if you can help.

Thirty-three have signed up to decorated trees this year, including local businesses, churches and organizations.

Christmas in the Park is set to open on Saturday, December 1, 2018.

The annual City Christmas Parade has been changed to December 1st and will end up at the park. A special thank you to Teague Chamber of Commerce, for coordinating the annual parade with this event.
