Rebekah Havens, 2016 graduate of Teague High School, recently graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.
On May 11, Rebekah was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from Texas Tech University Health Science Center. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 after only three years of study.
The day before graduating, Rebekah was also inducted into the Alpha Eta Honor Society, the honor society for the school of Health Professions, and received her honor cord in a special ceremony.
Rebekah will continue her education this fall at the University of Texas at Dallas where she has been accepted into the audiology program. Her plan is to earn her Doctorate of Audiology from UTD and practice in a hospital helping children to hear.
Rebekah is the daughter of John and Katherine Havens and graduated Valedictorian from Teague High School in 2016.
