Fairfield ISD celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week the week of May 1-5, 2017.
In honor of this special week, administrators drew names at random from the four Fairfield campuses and taught a class, giving the teacher a period off.
“Sometimes when we go about our days, doing the same thing day in and day out, we forget what it’s like to be on the other campuses,” says Interim Superintendent Tony Price. “This was a way to give our teachers a break and for us to be reminded what are peers do on a daily basis.”
