Many little girls, and some not-so-little girls, excitedly awaited their turn to meet Miss Texas 2017 Morgana Wood during the Tea with Miss Texas event held Wednesday, June 13th at the Moody Bradley House in Fairfield.
The guests were treated to miniature cupcakes, cookies, and punch, served out of the most delicate of tea cups and pots.
To fill their time as they waited for their turn to visit and have their photo taken with Miss Texas, the girls colored beautiful photos of princesses and tea parties.
Smiles could be seen in every room of the Historic Moody Bradley House during this annual event that is sponsored by the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce.
While in town, Miss Texas emceed the Miss Freestone county Scholarship Pageant, made the rounds to various businesses, and even stopped into the Fairfield Library to read to the children.
