Following at least one postponement, the 2020 graduates of Wortham High School finally enjoyed their moment in the spotlight on Friday, June 26, 2020 at Bulldog Stadium in front of a beautiful sunset, thanks to the Saharan dust.

The graduates walked out of the field house and entered the field one by one to sit with their family group.

One family member was designated to present each diploma.

Brandon Coker (at top) shared a special moment with his grandmother, Sally, who is in a terminal battle with stage 4 colon cancer. Mom, Deedra Coker, is a proud witness to the momentous occasion.

Valedictorian Samantha Lee (left) addresses her classmates for the final time.

Congratulations, WHS Class of 2020!
