In honor of National Police Week (May 14-20, 2017) and all the Police Officers around the country, the Wortham Police Department will be selling T-shirts and wrist bands.
This is a good way for people to show support for all the Police Officers across the country.
Last year was one of the most deadly for Police Officers in many years. This year has continued to be difficult for Law Enforcement as many officers have been killed or injured in the line of duty.
The officers who gave the ultimate sacrifice will be remembered and prayers will go out for the safety of those officers who still work every day to protect society and keep the peace. So, please join the Wortham Police Department in supporting police officers across the nation.
T-shirts and wrist bands will be available at the Wortham City Hall, $10 for a shirt and $2 per wrist band.
Proceeds will go to the Wortham Police Reserves War On Drugs.
