It was a perfect Autumn evening as the Annual Fall Art Walk opened on the Courthouse Square in downtown Fairfield, Texas.
Organized by Trinity Star Arts Council (TSAC), the popular event featured student art, live music and local shopping.
The Ukelele Band, made up of summer camp kids, performed for attendees, as did the newly formed Eagle Choir. Parents in the audience were visibly proud of their youngsters.
Artwork from both Fairfield and Dew ISD students were displayed in the former Dry Gulch Mercantile building. Their were Picasso-styled pumpkins, portraits and paper sculptures.
Just outside, Fairfield art teacher, Janie Haydon, led budding artists in drawing lessons.
Also on display, at Armadillo Emporium, were sculptures and artwork by Jonathan Lawlor.
The Williford Foundation opened it’s doors during the event for an Opening Reception entitled, ‘Seasons’ An Exhibit of Landscapes.
A live performance was provided by the Corsicana Swing Orchestra Lite.
