STARR Resiliency Agency in Fairfield has partnered with McLennan Community College of Waco to offer GED Readiness and ESL Classes.
These programs will serve Fairfield, and Freestone, Limestone, McLennan, Bosque, & Hill Counties.
These FREE classes help you take your first step toward a brighter future by offering flexible schedules, experience teachers, and remote or in-person options.
GED Classes will prepare you for your GED and open doors to new opportunities.
ESL Classes will improve your English skills for work, school, and daily life.

Technology: 24 (13 to 14 inch) Microsoft Windows desktops, keyboards, and mice; 24 software licenses; 2 smart boards; 30 headsets; Computer Accessories such as HDMI connectors and the like; 24 mouse pads; 24 ethernet cords; 24 network adapters; 2 projectors; 10 iPads; 24 monitors; 24 webcams; 24 speakers & docks; and 30 flash drives
Classroom Furniture: 5 long tables or 30 classroom adult desks; 30 chairs; and 2 teacher desks
Supplies: 2 moving white boards; 2 color printers & ink cartridges; 2 photo capable printers; 2 classroom laminators; 2 shredders; 2 easel stands; bulk – easel pads; bulk – reems of printer paper; 30 scientific/graphing calculators; bulk – cleaning and maintenance supplies; and 15 English to Spanish dictionaries
