Celebrating Women in Business with this special edition is an annual occurrence at The ‘Times,’ and this year we are highlighting Kimberly Kay Devine, whose businesses have been continuously growing over the past few years.

Kimberly advertises herself as a designer, entrepreneur, author, speaker and coach; and the names of her businesses are K Devine Designs and Serenity to Success Retreats.
Last week, our readers learned about her new book, Daily Revival: Fan the Flame, a devotional available on Amazon, at The Yoakum Mercantile in Teague, and through her retreat ministry.
This week, we will learn about the other products and services she offers and what it is like to be a woman in business.
With K Devine Designs, Kimberly offers website design, branding, and digital marketing services to other business owners.
Her Serenity to Success Retreats are faith-based retreats that offer renewal, personal growth, and a creative space for women to connect with God and each other.
When asked what her inspiration was for beginning the businesses, she explained, “I wanted to combine creativity with purpose, helping businesses thrive through design and marketing while also creating retreats and books that bring spiritual renewal. My businesses are about empowering people to share their message, grow their dreams, and live fully in the calling God has placed on their lives.”
Kimberly says that the best part about being a woman in business is being able to inspire others. “I love showing women that they can build successful businesses, use their God-given gifts, and still live with purpose and balance.”
She goes on to say, “While it can be difficult balancing your faith, family, and business while making sure you don’t lose sight of what matters most, and sometimes it’s not easy to be taken seriously at times, causing you to have to prove yourself more than a man, those challenges only serve to make you stronger and more determined.”
Kimberly grew up in Spring, Texas, graduating from Klein Oak High School in 1989, but she spent most of her summers as a kid in Dew. “As a 9th generation Freestone County resident, I didn’t live here full-time until 2020.” Dew is where she currently resides and operates her businesses, serving clients locally and across the U.S.
She learned some of her trade at the Art Institute of Houston where she earned an Applied Science Degree in Web Design and Development in 2002. Additionally, she is Google certified and is now working on completing her certification for Autism coaching as a side gig.
“I am deeply grateful to my family for always supporting me and encouraging me to follow God’s calling on my life,” Kimberly states. “I want readers to know that my books and work are both about courage and empowerment with a focus on God-purpose.”
